Canasta is a card game that is played with a combination of two regular decks, and is usually played with four players in two teams. Play Canasta and try to make melds, or runs of numbers. Private and group lessons are provided with instructor Linda Feinstein, on Manhattan Upper East Side. Join us to meet like-minded individuals who share your enthusiasm for this game.
We Meet every Wednesday, 12:00 pm to 3.45 pm, at Sarabeth’s Restaurant, located at Park Avenue South and 27th Street in New York City.
Buffet lunch is served upon arrival. Gluten free menu is available.
Playing begins promptly at 12:30 pm and you must stay until 3.45 pm
Minimum 3.5 hours commitment required
All players must be in compliance with MCC Rules unless otherwise agreed to by team members

Those who attend Manhattan Canasta Club please, note we honor a “Zero Tolerance Policy” when it comes to rude, aggressive or disrespectful unsporting behavior. We will advise you if we receive a complaint and subsequently, for those who do not respect their fellow players, we will disinvite you. There will be no refund if a player behaves badly and leaves during the event. House rules will not permit cellphone use including text messaging, during play. Your cellphone can be put on vibrate and you can take calls outside of the event room.Please, note we honor our players' comfort and enjoyment of our events and will continue to enforce our policies.
Morgan is a passionate card player who more recently became enamored with Canasta. Her desire for a new venture and playing games in a social competitve environment, resulted in establishing Manhattan Canasta Club. She has a broad background in business and international relations and foreign policy. Canasta certification from Manhattan School of Canasta. Morgan is thrilled to be launching this exciting new venture.
